Letters to George and Thea Heye from Lorenzo Chavez and other Zuni Pueblo Indians
Includes letters from Lorenzo Chavez, Natusey, Tom Kawaya, Harry Shusta, Herman Fryling, Bessie C. Boomshe, and others. Typed diary of a visit to New York City by Lorenzo Chavez and Waihusiwa, who stayed with Mr. and Mrs. George Heye, January to February 1923, includes description of places visited, including the Mauretania. Newspaper clippings covering the visit and a treatment of Chavez's blindness. Correspondence from Zuni Mission Station Day School from Herman Fryling.

The map depicts the migration of the Aztec people from Aztlan to Tenochtitlan over the period of several hundred years. Reverse of the map has a ticker on it that says Peregrinacion de los Aztecas from Careri Gemilli [sic], Giro del Mundo. Note of explanation is included in the folder.
Mappa Reinisch.
Copies of an 1886 reproduction of the original Mappa Reinisch, which was written March 23, 1586. The reproduction was made by Dujardine under the auspices of Comte Henri de Charencey in an edition of 25 copies, in Paris. It shows a genealogical tree of a Mexican tribe with hieroglyphic characters and text in Aztec written in Roman letters. Includes note of provenance signed by Marshall Saville. Two of the pieces are labeled, "Fragment du verso" and "recto." Has Indian writing and symbols.

Two maps of the same area of the United States, southeastern New York and Long Island. Maps is labeled with many different tribes and the areas that they possess. One map says outline is from Smith's 1837 map. One map is printed, but looks to be a proof because it has pencil notes for corrections. The color map is hand drawn. Includes, but not limited to: Acquackanonk, Cortland, Navesink, Nochpeem, Secatogue, Siwanoy, Tankiteke, Tappan, and Waoranec tribes.
Memorandum re indebtedness of Isaac Nantopom et al. to Gideon Nantopom
Form completed by hand, dated October 22, 1731 in Barnstable, Massachusetts. Shows Isaac Nantopom owes 10 pounds and James Hamblin and Jacob Nantompom owe 5 pounds, whereby they were to pay or work out the debt. Signed John Sturgis, Clerk.

Paintings have captions, Tizoc; Gold Treasure of Sigsig, Ecuador; and Turquois Mosaic Objects from Hawikuh, New Mexico. The paintings show Aztec and southwestern United States jewelry and sculpture.
