Typed diary of a visit to New York City by Lorenzo Chavez and Waihusiwa, who stayed with Mr. and Mrs. George Heye, January to February 1923, includes description of places visited, including the Mauretania. Newspaper clippings covering the visit and a treatment of Chavez's blindness. Correspondence from Zuni Mission Station Day School from Herman Fryling.
