Typescript legal documents and manuscript notes concerning the bankruptcy of Henry and Charles Salisbury, both as individuals and as co-partners in the firm Erie Knitting Mills in Amsterdam, New York. The firm was heavily in debt to Skenandoa Cotton Company. Collection includes details of the Erie Knitting Mills' inventory and finances. The bankruptcy case rose to the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of New York.
