22 leaves of a fragment of a judge's decision in the appeal of the case, which involved unpaid debts owed by the Attica and Hornelsville Rail Road Company (subsequently named the Buffalo & New York City Railroad). Manuscript in faded ink, with "Court of Appeals. The Buffalo & New York City Rail Road Company, respdt, agt Thomas J. Dudley, applt." at head of first page, but struck out. The respondent referred to in the body of the manuscript is the Attica and Hornelsville Rail Road Company, whose name is said to have been changed to "the present name" when the railroad extended its line to Buffalo in 1851 (page 56).
