Scope and content

Includes 29 letters, 1826-1851, 27 of which are to Fitzgerald Frazer, mostly from family members; also 50 letters, 1862-1865, from David E. Ferris to Susie Frazer of Haverstraw, New York, while Ferris was a Union soldier in the Civil War (killed in 1865). Also included are a contract (1781), and a November 6, 1787 copy of a patent belonging to Mrs. Elizabeth Van Dyke, dated July 28, 1688.
