Simeon Pool mail delivery contract
Contract hiring Simeon Pool to deliver the public mail and newspapers regularly between Canajoharie, in Montgomery County, New York, and Whitestown, in Herkimer County, a journey estimated to take 8-9 days each way. The employers who agreed to the contract with him were Lemuel Lovingsworth, Jonas Platt, Elias Kane, Elezier Moseley, Arthur Breese, Hugh White, Thomas R. Gold, and Betsy Hyde.
