Scope and content

The collection consists of 14 pages of a typewritten brief history of the Community of True Inspiration (subsequently called the Ebenezer Society), now known as the Amana Society. This essay was written on the occasion of the Society's centennial on October 26, 1942; a booklet titled "The Amanas Today, Seven Historic Iowa Villages," produced by Joan Liffring Zug and John Zug in 1974.
