Scope and content

Two maps of the same area of the United States, southeastern New York and Long Island. Maps is labeled with many different tribes and the areas that they possess. One map says outline is from Smith's 1837 map. One map is printed, but looks to be a proof because it has pencil notes for corrections. The color map is hand drawn. Includes, but not limited to: Acquackanonk, Cortland, Navesink, Nochpeem, Secatogue, Siwanoy, Tankiteke, Tappan, and Waoranec tribes.
