The videotape, "The Harriman Alaska Expedition Retraced," is a documentary concerning two scientific expeditions to Alaska, over 100 years apart. The original Harriman expedition in 1899 included 25 scientists, writers, and artists, among them Louis Agassiz Fuertes. A Smith College expedition in 2001 retraced Harriman's route.
