Gail and Stephen Rudin New York landmarks collection
Paper ephemera, postcards, and photographs related to the Brooklyn Bridge and other New York landmarks. Includes booklet, program, invitation, and ticket to opening ceremony for bridge on May 24, 1883. Also includes receipt for the purchase of Randall's Island, as well as miscellany related to the Holland Tunnel and the Statue of Liberty.
Maps of New York City and vicinity showing Indian possession
Two maps of the same area of the United States, southeastern New York and Long Island. Maps is labeled with many different tribes and the areas that they possess. One map says outline is from Smith's 1837 map. One map is printed, but looks to be a proof because it has pencil notes for corrections. The color map is hand drawn. Includes, but not limited to: Acquackanonk, Cortland, Navesink, Nochpeem, Secatogue, Siwanoy, Tankiteke, Tappan, and Waoranec tribes.

Copies of newspapers, especially The New York Times, documenting the events of September 11, 2001, collected by Jack Gilbert. Dates of this material range from 9/12/01 to 1/31/02.Also includes sheets with remembrances written by Cornell University students in the week after September 11, 2001 and displayed in Willard Straight Hall.
