Scope and content Three volumes of church and church committee meeting minutes (1796-1805, 1807, 1811-1822 and 1841-1895) which also contain lists of members, baptisms, deaths, and marriages, copies of the church covenant and articles of faith, a list of resolutions passed and an account of revivals in the church; and one volume of trustee records which contain minutes (1811-1874) and miscellaneous accounts. In addition there is a copy of a "historical discourse" published in 1852; five volumes of Sunday...

Records farming activities according to season; social meetings attended, including anti-slavery and temperance lectures, town meetings, library meetings and railroad meetings; church services attended at the First Congregational Church of East Bloomfield (of which he and his family were members and he a trustee); revival meetings; and family events.
