Scope and Contents
Series 2 contains records of the administration of patients as opposed to their medical treatment. These administrative records consist of financial ledgers that document the charges and payments for each patient, sometimes with contact information for the patient’s guarantor (or “security”). The records also include transcripts of letters sent by hospital administrators regarding billing and patient care, as well as logs of visitors and mail at the hospital.
