Scope and Contents
Subseries 1B contains official communications in the form of correspondence, reports, statistics, and memorandums relating to the administration of Bloomingdale. These communications were made between governing bodies, such as the Asylum Committee and the State Commission in Lunacy, and Bloomingdale’s administrators. These include both reports from and instructions to Bloomingdale’s administration on the hospital’s facilities and patients.
