This folder includes correspondence; part of “The Work of Revolutionary Trade Unions and Minorities in Different Countries” (RILU congress report, 1928); minutes of the First Quarterly Meeting of the General Executive Board; evening sessions of the Seventeenth Convention; special meetings; a copy of David Dubinsky’s passport; police reports and related documentation concerning Israel Feinberg’s charges against executive board members of Locals 2, 9, and 22 of the ILGWU; statements on the Needle Trades situation; “The Communist Plague in Our Union”; and additional related documents. Messages from Luigi Antonini, General Secretary of the Italian Dress and Waist Makers' Union (1925), statements of Morris Sigman, president of ILGWU (1925), and other organizations, such as the Workers Party, the Dressmakers Union, the Trade Union Committee for organizing Negro Workers, and newspaper clippings about garment strikes. Material in English, Italian, and Yiddish.
