Also included is a February 1970 issue of Harambee, evidently a local newsletter for the African American community in Ithaca, New York.

James A. Perkins was the President of Cornell University from 1963-1969. W. Keith Kennedy was the Vice Provost at that time. Ben Nichols was the chair of the Executive Committee for the Center for Research in Education on campus. Stuart M. Brown was the Dean of the College of Arts and Sciences. Robert D. Miller was the Dean of Faculty. Earl Armstrong was the president of the Afro-American Society on campus. James E. Turner was the first Director of the Center for Afro-American Studies (now the Africana Studies and Research Center).
