Correspondence between George Lincoln Burr, chairman of a Special committee of the University Faculty (1910) charged with conducting a prize competition for the selection of a new emblem for the University, and Bailey, Banks, & Biddle, regarding the rules of the competition and the winning design, which they subsequently submitted. Also several pressings of the design and their working model. Not to be confused with the Great Seal of the University.
