Copy of freshman diary of David Huyler, handwritten, with added programs, 1942-1943 and a freshman beanie (with bachelor's and master's graduation tassels pinned on). Also service diary kept by Huyler, transcribed and typed by Virginia Huyler. Three phonograph recordings of a WVBR radio program, "The Other Wiseman," December 17, 1947, produced by Virginia Huyler. 1948 Commencement program; "Songs of Cornell," Cornell University Glee Club cassette.
Also, World War II military star (7th Corps) and Navy pin; U.S. Army ID bracelet; and a Tau Kappa Epsilon fraternity pin belonging to David Huyler; and an Alpha Epsilon Rho (honorary broadcasting fraternity) pin, likely belonging to Virginia Williams Huyler.

Biographical / Historical
. David Huyler came to Cornell in 1942. He joined the Army in 1943, serving until 1945. He returned to Cornell in 1945 and graduated in 1948; he received an M.A. in 1949. At Cornell, he was a member of Tau Kappa Epsilon. He married Virginia Williams who also graduated from Cornell in 1948.
