Bound for Glory records
The Bound for Glory audio recordings capture the history of the folk music show created and hosted by Phil Shapiro (Cornell M.A. ’69), featuring a diverse array of folk performers from 1969 to 2015. The collection includes tapes and CDs with handwritten notes by Shapiro, detailing the performances and listing the songs played.
David E. Huyler memorabilia
Copy of freshman diary of David Huyler, handwritten, with added programs, 1942-1943 and a freshman beanie (with bachelor's and master's graduation tassels pinned on). Also service diary kept by Huyler, transcribed and typed by Virginia Huyler. Three phonograph recordings of a WVBR radio program, "The Other Wiseman," December 17, 1947, produced by Virginia Huyler. 1948 Commencement program; "Songs of Cornell," Cornell University Glee Club cassette.
WVBR - live audio recordings collection
35 CDs of radio programs recorded from live broadcasts over WVBR AM and FM, “The Voice of the Bib Red,” Cornell’s radio station, along with a sampler CD and a digital booklet and other digital files with photographs and information about the program, the tapes, and the background of the WVBR recordings, compiled by Cornell alumnus Bob Mayers '59, B. Arch. '61, dating from April 12, 1956, to November 8, 1960.
