Includes Strunk's Cornell University Ph.D. thesis, "The Anglo-Saxon Remains of Apocryphal Acts of the Apostles," 1896, including a 13 pg. mss. in Anglo-Saxon with a note on top "from Rev. Prof Keat. 2 Salisbury (Villas?). Cambridge Nov. 3, 1895"; his notebooks on Kipling and drama; one volume "English Essays" containing numerous handwritten annotations by Strunk; a 1918 privately printed copy of "The Elements of Style" and a broadside "Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer presents a pictorial story of the research which preceded Mr. Irving Thalberg's production of Shakespeare's Romeo and Juliet" which includes a photo of Strunk.
