Diary, 1909

 Item — Box: 2, Volume: 2

Scope and Contents

William Hull Botsford’s diary for 1909. Many entries are short, noting names of people he met with on a given day. Pages for earlier months mostly blank, with some stamped “W. Hull Botsford, Architect, Elmira, N.Y.” in purple ink. More substantial entries are concentrated in the months of November and December. These include mentions of Botsford’s younger siblings, Talitha and Emory; travel to Ithaca, Jersey City (to inquire about the New Jersey State Board of Architects exam), and elsewhere. End of diary includes a list of plays that Botsford saw during the 19109-1910 season.
