Scope and Contents

This volume includes Castle's “black dress, large white collar” look; her Egyptian inspired gown and beaded headdress; several stills from silent films; a “Canadian Mountie” costume and another antebellum costume with doctor bag; her Nun inspired and military inspired outfits; a series of war tableaux staged by Ben Ali Haggin and shot by photographer Charlotte Fairchild; images at Manhasset; "Patria" film stills; a series of photographs in mourning wear; four images of Castle at the “Victory Ball” in Paris wearing Persian boy outfit by Ben Ali Haggen, as well as some miscellaneous photographs.
