Also two scrapbooks compiled by Rankin after his return from the International Geological Conference in Sweden, 1910, including a State Dept. safe conduct document, photographs, picture postcards, menus, tickets and programs; also a list of Rankin's works published from the Geological Laboratory, Carnegie Institute, Washington D.C.

George Chapman Caldwell papers

Chamberlain, his son-in-law who was a professor of architecture at Cornell; notes kept by Caldwell on Louis Agassiz's lectures; family photographs, clippings, and letters, and an elaborate set of financial accounts kept by Caldwell. Typescript of a vacation journal, 1855.
