Scope and content
Typewritten play titled "A place called freedom" (10 pages), by Howard Fast and Robert Ardrey, distributed by the Council for Democracy. The play is about a farmer in Pennsylvania who decides to join the Continental Army and convinces his wife that the colonists' cause is worthwhile. Also, a typewritten list of the contents of a collection (2 pages), including articles, catalogs, and plays, with the title "A Place Called Freedom" pencilled in.
