Brotherhood of Maintenance of Way Employees, ICC, and Erie Lackawanna Briefs Regarding the Railroad Merger
Consists of proceedings and papers filed before the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Michigan, Southern Division, by the Brotherhood of Maintenance of Way Employes and the Railway Labor Executives' Association, contesting a railroad merger between the Erie Railroad Company and the Delaware, Lackawanna and Western Railroad Company, on the grounds that it would result in loss of jobs guaranteed to union members.
Brotherhood of Railroad Trainmen Records
These records deal chiefly with the union during the presidential terms of office of A.F. Whitney (1928-1949), W.P. Kennedy (1949-1963), and Charles Luna (1963-1968).
Erie Lackawanna Railway Company Records
Reports and publications generated or collected by the Erie Lackawanna Railroad Company. Includes records from both the Delaware, Lackawanna and Western Railroad Company and the Erie Railroad, the two predecessor railroad companies that formed the Erie Lackawanna Railroad Company.
Faass and Ford vs. State of New York records
Letters and legal documents in the contract dispute between F. Louis Faass and Daniel Ford, on the one hand, and the State of New York, on the other. Included are letters between the lawyers for the two sides of the dispute, detailed lists of the tasks contracted to be done and associated expenses, an "estimate of reasonable profits" under the contract, the claim filed by the plaintiffs with the state Board of Claims, and the brief for the claimants in the case.

Scrapbook of a Cornell student in Civil Engineering, including entrance examinations, programs, published lecture notes on "The Origin of Species," and photographs. Also a group photo of the members of Delta Upsilon fraternity, and a manuscript copy of his senior thesis: "Relocation of the Cayuga Division of the Delaware, Lackawanna, and Western Railroad."

Walter J. Mueller letter : to the Central New York Chapter, National Railway Historical Society
Typewritten letter in response to two publications by the Central New York Chapter of the National Railway Historical Society on railroads of central New York. Mueller reminisces about riding the Lehigh Valley Railroad and the Lackawanna Railroad, and watching the Lehigh Valley night train from Buffalo to New York as it came down West Hill to stop at the Ithaca station.
