Index cards arranged alphabetically with encyclopedic entries on each card. Cards have articles or newspaper clippings attached to them in addition to typed text. The entries all regard Indians and include places, people, such as chiefs and anthropologists, artifacts such as Folsom points, events, such as Indian conferences, and other associated terms, some in Indian languages. Some cards also give references to other terms and bibliographic information.
