Scope and content

Premium lists for entries in the 52nd and 56th Annual Fairs, held in 1889 and 1893, respectively, in Lyons, New York. Categories of entries in the 1889 consisted mainly of livestock; the 1893 fair included additional categories such as tools and machinery, grain and vegetables, women's handwork, and musical instruments. Premiums were paid to entrants for entries that were considered worthy.
