Diaries written by Henry Cooley of Eagle, Wyoming County, New York, an itinerant farm hand, wood chopper, and small scale money lender. Mentioned are a trip to Muscoda, Wisconsin, town and camp meetings, the Geneseo fair, the election of 1876, and work on the State Line Railroad, in addition to accounts of weather, chores performed, recreational activities, and other subjects.
