30 photographs of the basket collection of E. L. McLeod, assembled around 1892-1908. The baskets are chiefly from Kern County California. Some of the photos show the baskets at what looks to be McLeod's residence; others are shown in a studio. The photos are described on the back, possibly by E. L. McLeod. The descriptions identify the type of basket, and in some cases seem to tell where the basket was acquired or where it resides. Most of the baskets are labeled as being the bottle neck...
