Scope and content

Five songs written out in English and Native language as told to Thomas E and Arthur P. Penard by an Arawak indian in Dutch Guiana or Suriname. Three songs are about love and drink; the fourth is about leaving for England. Two of the pages are notes regarding the songs, including information about Indians leaving for England.

Abstract Vocabulary collection on Central and South American languages. Includes correspondence between Schuller and other members of the Museum of the Native American regarding the collection. Five boxes of 3x5 index cards with vocabulary items noted along with bibliographic source or notations in other languages.
