Gligor Tashkovich was a Cornell graduate and Minister for Foreign Investment in the new Government in the Republic of Macedonia. The Gligor Tashkovich papers (1983-2015) contain under-graduate and post-graduate material including student and alumni activities, campus organizations and governance, personal correspondence and cards, US political and social life material, international committees and affairs, and items collected while traveling.

Copies of newspapers, especially The New York Times, documenting the events of September 11, 2001, collected by Jack Gilbert. Dates of this material range from 9/12/01 to 1/31/02.Also includes sheets with remembrances written by Cornell University students in the week after September 11, 2001 and displayed in Willard Straight Hall.
