Records created or assembled by the Rotary Club of Ithaca, New York. Including correspondence, publications, and material related to the functioning and activities of the club.
Ithaca theater papers
Twenty-eight scrapbooks of programs from Ithaca, New York theaters, including the Lyceum (1893-1900, 1902-1917, 1924-1925); Library Hall; Wilgus Hall; Town Hall; and Cascadilla Hall. Also, one scrapbook of Cornell Masque (1894-1925), sample tickets, papers relating to the sale of the Lyceum, newspaper clippings, and several glass slides of local theaters. Also, two copies of the thesis, "A Sketch of the Theatres of Ithaca, 1842-1942,", 1942, one with photographs affixed.
Ithaca Womans Club records
Records include three manuscript volumes containing constitution, by-laws, list of charter members; treasurers' records (1897-1909); and minutes of the Home Economic Section of the Ithaca Woman's Club (1902). Also miscellaneous items including receipts, programs, historical summaries, news clippings. One scrapbook containing a history of the club, lists of charter and early members, photographs of club presidents and copies of presidents' speeches and club brochures (1897-1949).
Jessica Tyler Austen items
Letter to Mrs. Austen from Albert C. Dieffenbach, praising her for her work (July 26, 1928); poem addressed to her by her friend Gertrude (February 4, 1925); and newspaper clipping from the Ithaca Journal News on her Braille work and that of her group of volunteers (November 29, 1932). The newspaper article appeared two years after her death.

Julia Mack Riley reminiscences: Growing up in Cascadilla
Reminiscences of Julia Mack Riley, entitled "Growing up in Cascadilla"; sections include "Through Cascadilla Windows With the Eyes of a Child," "Through Cascadilla Doors With the Feet of a Child," and "Northern Lights." Includes typescripts, some with revisions, and handwritten notes. Riley discusses Ithaca, New York and Cornell University, mainly between 1882-1893.
Lyceum Theatre records
Pamphlets, brochures, broadsides, clippings, tickets, photographs, steroscopic slides, construction specifications, and other material pertaining to the Lyceum Theatre and its predecessor, the Wilgus Theatre. The photographs show orchestras, casts, the Elks Minstrels, and other groups. A record of plays and moving pictures at the theatres covers the years 1893-1924.
