Scope and Contents
This series includes the minutes of the Board of Managers, 1823-1895 and the minutes of the Visiting Committee, 1831-1895. The Board of Managers had oversight over all operations of the institution including finances, physical spaces, legal matters, and appointment of staff. The Visiting Committee minutes include information about admissions, confinements, and discharges of patients. Both sets of minutes are incomplete.
