Image depicts part of the Amoskeag Manufacturing Company in Manchester, N.H., showing a long brick building, three stories high, with at least two towers. Trees on the left. Note the posters plastered to the lampposts, one of which advertises weekly sailings on the Cunard line between Boston and Liverpool. Original photograph at the Smithsonian Institution (Division of Mechanical & Civil Engineering).
