Dexter, Maine. Gelatin silver print, ca. 1920. Image depicts the Amos Abbott & Co. building in Dexter, Me., from the rear. The building on the right with two smokestacks behind it is the company building; the very top portion of the bell tower is visible to the left of the smokestacks. Unclear if the three-story brick building in the center left is part of Amos Abbott or not. Railroad tracks on the right side parallel a canal. Amos Abbott & Co. manufactured woolen cloths.
