Scope and Contents

Gelatin silver print. Image depicts ten male employees of Arlington Mills worsted spinning dept. posed together in front of a bank of trees in an outdoor setting, apparently on a group outing. About half the group are dressed in suits and ties; another wears a vest and tie, three others wear ties; only one wears casual work clothes. Written on the photo: "Worsted Spinning [ ] Arlington Mills [ ] Aug. 14 [?], 1909." Arlington Mills was located in Lawrence, Mass. 20.25 x 15.5 cm. (w/out mount); 22 x 17 cm. (w/mount).
