The former baker was accused of adoring the devil and having poisoned a neighbor (trial "in venesicii"). The record includes the testimony of her neighbors, her own inquisition, the fact that she was left to the torturer to be interrogated harshly ("to death if necessary"), two personal interventions from the Prince Carl Wilhelm von Anhalt, and the sentence, according to which...
