Biographical / Historical

Bruce Yaw was born in Jersey City, NJ on July 26, 1946. He attended Eastern Kentucky University and graduated from Montclair State University. Bruce begain playing the bass guitar early in life and became known as an inventive RnB groove player. He was a member of the "The Everyman Band," which started touring the world in 1975 and recorded with Lou Reed. In 1986, he began teaching French and Spanish in the Moravia Central School District in New York.
