Philo Judson was born on November 18, 1837 in Orwell, Oswego Co. NY. He faught in the 2nd Battle of Bull Run. He died in Virginia on August 30, 1862 age 24. He is buried in Chateaugay Cemetery, Orwell, NY.

Samuel Jay Bass was born on June 15, 1842 in Orwell, Oswego Co. NY. He was part of the 110th Regiment NY Volunteer Army. He died in Baton Rouge, LA, on August 12, 1863, age 21. He is buried in Chateaugay Cemetery, Orwell, NY.
