Biographical / Historical

Gail Holst-Warhaft served as an adjunct Professor in Classics, Comparative Literature and Near Eastern Studies at Cornell University. She also served as the Director of the Mediterranean Studies Initiative and Faculty Associate of the Cornell Center for a Sustainable Future. Areas of focus include Modern Greek Literature and Music and Greek Literature from Antiquity to the Present. She is also a poet, translator, and musician.
