Records associated with the creation and publication of the Cornell Countryman, including a selection of photographs marked for publication, negatives from a presentation about student advising at Cornell. Includes letter from Joey Green of the Cornell Lunatic regarding a copyright claim for another Cornell publication, the Cornell Widow. Also style guide and correspondence. Biographical / Historical

Hardy was born in Fenelon Falls, Ontario, Canada, March 27, 1930, and received a degree in floriculture from Cornell in 1953. After returning to Canada to work as the gardening editor and a writer at Canadian Homes magazine, she returned to Cornell in 1962. She taught writing and editing courses at Cornell and retired as a senior lecturer in 1996. She served as the advisor for the Cornell Countryman, a student produced publication of the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences.
