Biographical / Historical
Frederick L. Brown, an architect based in Scranton, Pennsylvania, designed the Jamieson and McKinney Block, located at 115-121 S. Cayuga Street in Ithaca, New York, in 1896. Originally built for the plumbing firm Jamieson and McKinney, the building housed their business, storefronts, and apartments. The structure is also known as the McKinney Building or the Jamieson and McKinney Building. It was listed on the U.S. National Register of Historic Places in 1990.
