Scope and content

Scrapbook containing ephemera relating to college events at Cornell and Syracuse University as well as several other institutions. Scrapbook starts with a cyanotype labeled September 10, 1886 presumably of Packard. Cornell fraternal material includes items relating to the Cornell chapter of Alpha Delta Phi including an invite to the Convention Ball 1886 held at the Armory, with filled out dance card, invites and calling cards from Class of 1888 member Bento de Barros. Cornell Zeta Psi, Alpha Delta Phi. Also photograph labeled Kappa Kappa Gamma Cornell 1883 showing members, possibly the first class as the Cornell chapter of the sorority was founded November 27, 1883 in Sage College. Also other Kappa Kappa Gamma items including song booklet. Anna Packard attended Syracuse University from 1887 to 1890 and may have attended Cornell University starting in 1883. She was a member of Kappa Kappa Gamma sorority. Packard appears to have frequented events at Cornell University as well as Syracuse. She is the descendent of John Alden from the Mayflower voyager.
