Biographical / Historical

The 1932 Cambridge Expedition, lead by Brian Birley Roberts, to Vatnajökull Ice Cap in Iceland comprised a double traverse of this largest glacier in Europe for the purpose of scientific experimentation and observation in a number of fields.
