Biographical / Historical

Raymond L. Handlan is a member of the Cornell University Class of 1953. He served as president of Atlantic Philanthropies from 1983 to 1993, and as senior adviser from 1993 until (present?). Prior to his career in grantmaking, he worked as a fundraiser at several universities. As director of development at Cornell University, Handlan led a successful $250 million capital campaign from 1975-1980.
