Scope and content

Typewritten flyer with manuscript header, "Warning: some properties of the chemicals in the self-igniting Molotov cocktail that the people should know about," explaining the dangers of the chemicals in a Molotov cocktail and how to handle them safely. Text printed in all caps at the bottom of the flyer reads: "All power to the people. For every act of aggression, inflict a political consequence. N.C.C.F."

Biographical / Historical

The National Committee to Combat Fascism was a Berkeley-based group founded in 1969 that was sponsored by the Black Panther Party. The Cambridge N.C.C.F. strongly advocated for blacks to arm themselves, to become familiar with various types of weapons and explosives, and to form self-defense groups.
