Scope and content

40 original punk flyers from the collection of Don Bolles. Also included are two issues of Bomp News Letter (nos. 19 and 20 from June 1977) and the O.C.Peace Punks zine featuring articles on equal rights for women, animal liberation, and nuclear disarmament. Some original flyer paste-ups, along with art work and fan correspondence on the backs of flyers included. The show flyers document performances by bands in which Bolles was a member, in particular 45 Grave and Celebrity Skin, along with other bands performing in Southern California, primarily in the 1980s-90s.

Don Bolles (born Jimmy Michael Giorsetti on July 7, 1956 in Phoenix, Arizona) is an American drummer known for his involvement in the 1970s and 1980s punk scene in Los Angeles, California, performing with Germs, Nervous Gender, 45 Grave and Celebrity Skin.
