Scope and content

Correspondence regarding the sale of Troy's photography business, with original letters from J. Hubert Fenner, and typescript copies of letters from C. D. Bostwick (Cornell University Treasurer) and John P. Troy, indicating the general nature of Troy's activities, his inventory, and the monetary value of his business. Also, 8 glass negatives by Troy depicting car radiators, gas experiment under fume hood, group photograph of troops, example of "modern stable equipment", oil cans/ducts/trays and buckets, troop using acetylene torch, group photo of a graduation and a group photo of a Naval band. Included ia a CD containing digitized version of the slides with 4 additional photographs depicting Barton Hall construction, Barton Hall interior, Armory, and parade in Ithaca NY (State and Cayuga Streets).
