Biographical / Historical
Entomologist. Charles P. Alexander received a B.S. (1913) and Ph.D. (1918) from Cornell University. He served as Curator of the Snow Entomological Collection at the University of Kansas, as Curator with the Illinois Natural History Survey from 1919 to 1922, and as professor and administrator at the University of Massachusetts from 1922 until his retirement in 1959.
