Verifax copy of a letter, September 11, 1891 from Sarah Manning Sage to Anne Whitney, describing the "day at Ithaca" when Miss Whitney's medallion (McGraw-Fiske Medallion) was unveiled. Four diary excerpts, 1891, from the diary of Abby Adeline Manning concerning Anne Whitney's work on the medallion. Copy of a letter, July 5, 1961 from Mrs. Elizabeth R. Payne to Bruce Payne concerning her book on Anne Whitney and thanking Cornell for aid.

Anne Whitney, an American sculptor, created a bronze medallion of Jennie McGraw, which is now over the main door of Uris Library. It was the gift of Henry W. Sage.
