Scope and content

Typewritten report issued at the end of a two-year pilot program in environmental systems analysis funded by a federal grant. Includes reports on a summer workshop in engineering and biological analogues in the social sciences; mobility systems; systems analysis of a lamb; lamb simulation; the H. Contortus ecological system; a genetic load seminar; the role of economics in environmental quality management; a statistical analysis of some health effects of air pollution in New York City; a study of normative models for capital budgeting by public agencies; analytical methods for economies of scale problems; planning of multiple objectives; waste management: oxidation reaction of nitrogen in waters receiving secondary treatment plant effluents; disease models and extensions; and a workshop on model methodology for health planning (with particular reference to tuberculosis).
